STOP IT!!!!! STOP IT!!!! STOP IT!!!! 🚨 🚨 🚨
Have you ever been confused and not wanted to make a decision?
Have you thought of the same situation over and over in your head until you came to a decision that made sense to you?
Have you ignored the initial prompts of the Holy Spirit because you did not understand??
I have, and this has stopped me from doing A LOT of things. Proverbs has one of my favorite scriptures, as it reminds me that God’s got it and do not worry!!!!
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5.
I am having the revelation that I have always liked to have everything figured out; to have what I felt was control, to have a logical explanation for my decisions. This can be very dangerous in my life and the lives of others because it can put you before God (and I never want to do that).
I am currently reading a book by Joyce Meyer,“Battlefield of the mind” and the part of the book, reveals that wondering is a relative of confusion. Wondering can cause doubt and confusion. God is NOT of confusion so this has to be from the enemy. It is different to bring something before the lord and ponder with a pure heart, but when confusion comes in, we need to repent and ask for focus so when do not hold confusion on the situation in our hearts. Reasoning and confusion go together.
We do not have to understand everything to walk with God , we just need to be obedient and have faith. We must lay aside our carnal reasoning if we want discernment and this will lead to rest, peace, and victory. God is faithful and restores our minds and time so as I am learning more and more about who God says that I am, I will always know that worrying is a waste of time.
“Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7
What do you need to bring to God today to break the confusion ?
