Don’t worry….Talk to God 😇
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6 NLT
The Bible gives us great examples of how to live this life. It shows us the highs and lows of how others handled trials. Paul was a real one!!!! He went through so much and then taught and led others to Christ.
We all are going through a lot in this world 🌍 with the COVID-19 running rapid, but even in the circumstance right now, God continues to remind me to read and trust in HIS word and salvation available to all on earth. I was reading Philippians again this past week, and God reminded me that even when all seems lost and dim, that HE still wants us to love, serve, trust, have faith, be bold, and take action for HIS harvest.
“Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.” Philippians 2:4-5 NLT
God wants us to grow in understanding HIS plan.
“I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return.” Philippians 1:9-10 NLT
We have been given a gift of “un- busyness” with the different quarantines and while we have time, it is a great opportunity to grow in community by reaching out to others that we do not normally reach out to. People like neighbors, coworkers, and even church members who need help, represent souls that we have the opportunity to minister to through God’s love.
“Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless.” Philippians 2:16 NLT
What we do and who we are for God is what matters. HE is our source and not the things of this world.
“I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Even so, you have done well to share with me in my present difficulty.” Philippians 4:12-14 NLT
I am realizing that in every situation, that God is enough. Even when people get sick and pass away, God is with me.
“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Now all glory to God our Father forever and ever! Amen. “Philippians 4:19-20 NLT
I encourage you to remember that God is our peace and strength through the good times and the bad and that we all have the opportunity to grow stronger in HIM.
What is your plan to grow stronger towards the Lord during this quarantine?
