I ain’t got a worry bout the things I can’t control 🎵🎶
I ain’t got to worry bout it, 🎶all I do is pray😇 about it,……Gods got it!!!… ( I like that song by j.moss)
Driving through Orlando this early Monday morning, it felt like a Saturday morning when not everybody is awake yet. People we’re still going to work and all, but there was not as many people on the road in terms of the usual traffic due to the COVID-19. I just had it in my mind that it’s Monday, it’s ok, business as usual, but it was not. Hellllloooo!!!! SOS!!!! there is a pandemic going on!!!! We should be on lockdown at this time ( calm down Smitty 🤓). My county has a curfew already and almost everything is closed and seems like everything has changed……. Our schedules, Our plans, Our norm….. pay attention everyone!!!!
Even this past week was stressful in a way, trying to prepare my home. I’ve gone shopping for supplies, waited for treasured toilet paper, missed anticipated events, and stayed inside more than often.
I hear whispers-“God’s got it”.
“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” Matthew 6:31-34 NLT
I hear whispers- “Gods got it”.
And then, when I listened and when I thought about it, I look at it as call to be still, to be prepared spiritually, and focus on what is most important, and that’s God.
God is our provider, protector, healer, just everything. I choose to focus more on HIM during this time then to worry about anything. I ask that the Holy Spirit guides me and all that God has for me. I pray and plead the blood of Jesus over us, over the world 🌎, and that there’s healing and resolution in the name of Jesus.
I see all of this as an opportunity. An opportunity for obedience, growth, and action to shine as the church in a time of chaos and darkness.
What reminds you that Gods got it?
P.S…..I even have been cooking more. Can you believe it 😜!!! LOL… 😂..I did not burn rice this time 🍚 🎉🤓🙋🏾♀️. I have actually been staying home to cook and use the resources that I have in my home instead of wasting money.( look at the positives 😃😇)
