Recently, I found myself just being quiet and wanting to be alone. I had an attitude and I had no reason for it. I was in a “mood” and I needed to check myself. I prayed and asked the Holy Spirit to help me. I needed to check my heart.
“Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalms 139:23-24 NKJV
This too, will pass. I know that there are a lot of things going on in this world with the pandemic, shortages, unemployment, illness, and more but I choose to be intentional in always remembering that God of Heaven is my source and that He lightens every burden and says who I am. There is nothing that God can’t do.
I asked God to search my heart and uncover everything that was going on. It revealed so much mess that is not even important for my eternity. With all authority, I called out, cast out, and rebuked all attacks and plans of the enemy, in the name of Jesus. I allowed the Holy Spirit to dwell in me and spent time speaking the truth of who God says I am.
“I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah”
I Claim victory in the name of Jesus in all areas of my life. I declare freedom from strongholds. I declare peace, protection, and provision for my family and generations to come. I declare breakthrough in every area of this life.
“Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit. When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through my groaning all the day long.” Psalms 32:1-3 NKJV
God gives us grace daily to recognize what the root of a situation is and searching our hearts allows us to discover, uncover, identify, pray, repent, surrender, and then live in victory.
What area of your life are you declaring victory in?
