Happy New Year!!!!
The year of 2020 was definitely a year of growth and patience. I am thankful for the adventures that God has walked me through. I had chances to listen, learn, and grow. As I reflect back on the things that I have experienced, I realize that all of them, have made me into the person that I am right now. I am chosen, loved, favored, blessed, strong, wise, and more because Gods says that I am.
One of the last things I wanted to do in 2020 was worship and prayer at church and one of the first things is wanted to do in 2021 was to worship, pray, and get married at the same church. I got to do it!!!!! I can do ALL things through Christ!!!! God opened the door for us to be able to worship at our midnight ,New Years Eve, service and then get married in the chapel. It was awesome!! Loved ones stayed up waaaayyyy past their bedtime to spend time to witness our marriage. I felt so much love in the room and was overwhelmed with joy as I walked down the isle toward my husband.
God loves us so much and grants the desires of our hearts , especially when it involves Our love for HIM. I had an idea of how I wanted our wedding to look like and HE exceeded anything that we can imagine. I did my part in what was needed in regards to action and God did the rest.
“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”
I met my husband in church. I didn’t expect anything like this when we met but I am grateful. We got to know each other as friends and served in the same ministry together. God allowed me to love My husband before I liked him. God has enhanced my life with adding my husband to me. We planned our wedding in less than two months but it didn’t look like it. God opened every door for us to walk through and our action brought us victory from getting the chapel, dress, food, decor, dj, and more. Even our honeymoon was an unexpected blessing.
I am complete already, and God has added my husband to walk with me as a blessing in my life. I am excited for the adventures that await and am open to learning more about Gods plan for our lives together. I look forward to the years ahead.
What did you do to celebrate the new year?
