I love Christmas!!! I love what Christmas represents….JESUS!!!!
I have been blessed to spend time with my parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, in- laws, boyfriend, and loved ones during the Christmas season, and with all the tangible love that surrounds me, I have a greater joy and faith in knowing that Gods’ love for me is beyond my human understanding. Gods love and mercy is daily for us.
My parents blessed me with knowledge of who Jesus is to include HIS birth, death, and resurrection. If you have never heard of Jesus, I want to share HIS love and truth with you.
“In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee, to a virgin named Mary. She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David. Gabriel appeared to her and said, “Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you! ” Confused and disturbed, Mary tried to think what the angel could mean. “Don’t be afraid, Mary,” the angel told her, “for you have found favor with God! You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David. And he will reign over Israel forever; his Kingdom will never end!””
Luke 1:26-33 NLT
Mary was favored and we are favored by God. Jesus did not come into this world like everyone else. HIS miraculous conception set the foundation for HIS miraculous resurrection. Jesus came to save, teach, love, serve, and more so that we can have everlasting life.
““For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:16-17 NLT
We are blessed daily with the gift of life and it is our assignment to share the love of Christ with everyone that we come in contact with. It is our honor to lift Jesus‘s name on high not only with our words but with her actions. We have to be set apart, bold, and courageous in spreading the good news of Jesus, because lives are depending on this.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 NLT
Christmas is a great time to remember that material things are not what is important, but Gods gift of Jesus is. We have this gift throughout the year and can gain more souls for God‘s kingdom when we are willing to be obedient and take action. This is real important y’all!!!!
Merry Christmas & God bless you
Who will you share the gift of Jesus with today?
